I installed the Hogue beavertail slip-on and the stainless guide rod .I wasn't a fan of the stippling on the back of the frame.The Hogue solved that problem,and also thickens the grip just a tad.The stainless guide rod is the one from ssguiderods.com,and has a single large recoil spring.Racking the slide is a lot easier.I have fired several mags since the replacement-so far, so good.Accuracy and felt recall are the same as when the stock parts were installed,and I have detected no signs of frame battering.

Me,too-that Hogue grip was a real PITA to install!!!
