Looks like they are starting to slowly make it out to the LGS. Mine got 7 (8 round) in and he's letting his customers have first grab. Didn't care paying $32. but in the long run it works out. I always get good deals on other things.

The ones I've found online were about $30, but then you add shipping...which about evens out if you buy them locally for $32 and pay sales tax (at least here in Texas.) The two shops I frequent haven't gotten any in stock...I usually order from MidwayUSA or Greg Cote LLC.

LGS had 3 7rounders for $34 each. Passed on them for now. May regret it later.

Bud's Gun Shop had them online for $27 and some change a while back. But you are right, once you pay S&H it came to about $30-32 for an extra 7 rd and 8 rd mag.

I figure if I have three 8 round mags I'm happy. One in the pipe and a 7 round mag makes 8. Mine is a BUG and if I'm down to that,"party is over" anyway.

Pete of the Armory Channel has a saying that I can't quote exactly here (he is very profane) about why he doesn't carry a spare magazine, but it is approximately:

"If you can't get in done in 8 rounds, then (expletive deleted) run!"
