shield 9mm vs XDS 9mm

Dick.....are you in CA? If so how did you get an xDs? Do they make a CA compliant xDs? Only asking as both of mine came with huge stickers on the case saying NOT LEGAL in CA

Not in California. My wife knows S&W Gen 1&2 pistols, ergo she is familiar with and likes mag safeties. Her M&P9 has mag safety but no external safety, she would like both, hence the Cal Shield.-Dick
