My wife and I have the Hoge Handall Jr on ours. Had to trim a little off the bottom with an X-Acto knife. Fits perfectly otherwise and has a nice palm swell on each side that helps us grip better.

That's a tough gun to grip, the fact that it feels good in one hand doesn't necessarily translate into being an easy gun to grip properly for shooting.

Mine also has the Talon rubbery stick ons (under the Hogue, obviously). Neither are a substitute for the other.

FWIW, I also have the Lasermax installed. Had to sand down the rough part underneath the trigger guard because the finger rest of the grip crowds the finger and two or three mags at the range would rub a blister. But now that I have it like I want it, I really like the setup. I still have to concentrate on proper grip and control to avoid the low-left issue but that's not the gun's fault.
Hope this helps...

Talon grips...granulate for range guns and rubber for my EDC. I also placed a Pachmayer grip sleeve (same as Handal Jr) over the Talons, but the grip ended up as large as my 9c, so I removed the grip sleeve.

Recently went from Talon granulate on my Shield to Talon rubber for comfort IWB. Liked them so much I changed all my pistols. Also I didn't like the idea of one grip (feel) for the range and a different one for EDC.

Hi all , i too suffered from the low left from the shield. So i tried something strange . Instead of trying to fit my whole hand on the grip and have the right trigger finger position which felt very strange i tried a two finger grip and used more support hand side pressure . Bingo it worked . Shots were dead center and the grip felt great. Try it it worked for me .The SHIELDS thin grip will not fit all hands well.

thanks to all for info I will try one of those grips. I to suffer from lower left from the shield. My ruger not so but have a drip

+1. I've learned I must grab the gun with my strong (right) hand with the thumb pointing up. That leaves a nice open place for the base of my left thumb to sit. Then the right thumb comes down and locks around the left thumb. May be second nature to most on here but that was not intuitive for me.

Bicycle inner tube. You can trim it as needed to fit, plus it's cheap.
