Shield Alien Holster

Finally received my holster in the mail after waiting a little over 4 weeks.

The holster is great, it is very rigid and high quality. I opted for this over the crossbreed. The holster has retention screws so you can make it easy for your gun to come out or hard, I can tip and shake it upside down and it won't budge.

You can also adjust the clips for ride height. The clips that come with the holster are extremely durable and feel so secure on my belt!

After wearing the holster I found its best at 2:30-3:00 on my body. Extremely easy to quick draw and reholster.



Overall its a great holster and I will absolutely be buying more in the future! just know when you order that you may be looking at 4+ weeks of waiting.

Thanks for doing a review, looks like I'm going to have to pick one up. I like that it has adjustable retention. once you have used it for a while you should give us an update.
I just bought a shield and will be needing a holster for it once its ready to go into the rotation.

I ordered one a couple weeks ago for my shield. Cant wait for it to come in. Looks realky nice. Gi e us an update after u break it in and let us know how it feels, comfort, whe. Ur sitting down and what not. Very nice.

I bought one December 20th and it shipped yesterday. I am looking forward to getting it. I've heard a lot of great things about this holster.
I want to get an OWB that rides high. Looking at Comp-tac for that one. Been holding off until this one came in

I was strongly considering one of these exact holsters for my Shield. However, I'm favoring the more minimalist holsters right now, as opposed to those like this one with more backing or surface area.

However, if and when I want to move to something like this, it will probably be one of these exact items.

Appreciate the review and opinions you shared.

I purchased one recently...received it in 14 days. It looks very, very, much like a Crossbred, but it costs about half and it has a terrific warranty program. I tooks a few days for it to start molding to my body shape. Now, when I am wearing it, I almost don't realize I am carrying. My EDC is a S&W M&P 9c. I also have a Galco Tuc N Go I sometimes use. I know that I am going to get a belt designed for conceal carry...like Amerihide...very sturdy. Having 30 plus ounces hanging on the side really requires more support than a regular belt has to offer.

I've been researching for a gun belt for a little while now. was thinking about ordering A Hanks Amish guns belt, then I went to our local gun show this past weekend and A local distributor who makes and sells his own gun belts had them on display so for $30 I decided to take a chance on one. It was very well made and very rigid and yet still very comfortable. went home and put my rig on and can't believe what a difference a good quality belt makes. kept everything rate where was supposed to be with no movement for sagging. I guess the moral to my story is check your local gun shows or local gun stores and see if they have anything at a good price without having to spend an arm a leg on the name brand stuff. didn't mean to hijack the thread lol go alien gear.
