Shield Finally

Finally recieved one of the shields that were on my list.Wanted to get the 9mm but missed out and went out of stock before I could get to it.But good thing was able to catch a 40.I never handled one of these but heard such good things about them,cant wait to shoot.Overall was really impressed by the feel of this gun and cant believe how compact it is.

Go ahead and get urself on the back order list for the Shield 9mm barrel.

Once u get it, u'll have 2 weapons for the price of 1 and a barrel.

You cant go wrong with the Shield in .40 thats for sure.

I liked the Shield 40. Compact and accurate - as long as you have a firm grip, no issues. I put 250rnds through it and my wife 100rnds. It was going to be her CC, but she didn't care for the muzzle flip of the 40S&W, so finally found a 9MM Shield. Took it to the range yesterday and she loves it! She "let" me put 8rnds through it. Very smooth in the 9MM.

BTW - I would highly recommend the Talon Grip (in rubber texture) for the Shield. I have them on the Shield and my two XDs's - a great improvement and helps with any sweaty palms issue at the range.

Yep the 9 sure does shoot smooth in the Shield

Took your advice Bluto and ordered a Talon grip for my Shield

It makes a good amount if diff on my xDs that's for sure
