Ok, Double-O-Dave is the winner. The online True Random Number Generator actually picked number 2 but I see rock doc removed himself from the running, so I figure going on to the next in line, post #3, is fair enough.

7/10/2013 - Update: I recently received the holster from db (Tom), and it fits my M&P 40C like glove, as can be seen in the attached photos. It's a nice holster. Thanks again, Tom, for the very generous karma.

Good stuff, Dave. Subcompact, compact, I guess I was close enough. I knew it was for a newer S&W semi-auto, just not which model exactly. Glad you can use it.
