The Smith & Wesson Web Page, at their "Store" is listing eight (8) holsters for the Shield; as of May 25.

Eh .. Bought a Galco G26 natural leather until my Raven Phantom and mag carrier arrived. I love both of them.

When I bought my Shield over a month ago, the *store* links didn't work.

I haven't comparison shopped yet, mainly because most of my G-26 holsters work just fine for my Shield.

Depending on how the Store's pricing goes, at least it would serve as a good jumping off point to know which holsters definitely work, then comparison shop either locally, or online.

Doing a Google 'Shopping' search, just punching in 'Holster Shield M&P' is already bringing up quite a few hits.

Yes .. amazing what just one month after the introduction has brought for the Shield. Goes to say that S&W hit more than a home run with the Shield, more like out of the park.

Right now, for IWB carry, I use a G26 holster for my Shield. I really want to order a Cross Breed Super-Tuck for it by the end of the month.

But I also use a DeSantis "Apache" ankle holster which is really - really comfortable.

I ordered a Crossbreed a week and a half ago. It came highly recommended from a friend who wears one with an LC9 everyday.

Any chance it came yet?

After I posted that I was thinking of getting one, I figured I might as well just do it and I ordered one.... and it says 4-6 weeks for delivery!

Nope, said 4-6 weeks for me also. Hopefully closer to 4!

I just ordered a Crossbreed Minituck for a Shield I don't even have yet, just to get in the queue. Supposedly the wait time is 4-6 weeks. I see they also have a Shield version of the larger Supertuck. I have two Supertucks (SIG P239 and SP2022) and a Minituck for a PM9, and love them all. I also have a Com-Tac Minotaur MTAC and a Milt Sparks VM2 holster for the P239, and the Supertuck, for me at least, is the favorite of the three. The VM2 is a work of art, but I don't find it as comfortable nor as easy to draw from as the Supertuck. YMMV, but the Crossbreeds really work for me.

4-6 weeks is not too bad. My first supertuck took 10 weeks :(

Great holsters though and worth the wait. I also use a Remora for my Shield on the quick trips out.

I'm going to have to try the Remora's. It does sounds like a great solution for those quick trips.

They work surprisingly well. I am more skeptical than the average guy so I was thinking I was going to waste my money but I now have one for almost every one of my pistols. They just work! Enjoy

Glock 26 holsters fit Shield perfect

My Shield fits perfect in the Galco soft leather IWB Glock 26. Snug fit, trigger completely covered and barrel right to the end and Big Dot front sight no problem. Honestly, custom holster would not have a better fit and no wait for $25.

Pocket holster I use the Desanti E1 made to fit the Glock 26 and again the fit is perfect and it was $21.

Russ

P.S. Rear Big Dot sight is angled forward making quick pocket draw with flush magazine in 36x32 Dockers no problem.

I just received my Raven Phantom holster OWB.
It fits the Shield perfectly, and the workmanship is flawless.
It fits real tight in the holster, and I mean real tight, it ain't coming out.
And that is the issue I am having, its too tight to draw, and if it doesn't come out smoothly and quick enough, that is a problem.
Any suggestions from others with the Raven Phantom OWN holster?

The online pic looks like the holster is Kydex and mostly grips the trigger guard. If this correct, you can adjust the tightness with a hair dryer (for many, a heat gun applies too much heat too quickly). I've had to lightly reshape a few Kydex holsters.

With the pistol in the holster, try to gradually heat up JUST the area that's too tight. You should be able to see the Kydex become pliable. Warm it up, withdraw the pistol just a quarter inch or so and continue applying gentle heat. If it gets too loose, you can reshape it a bit snugger using oven mits/gloves to press the area you want snugger. GOOD Kydex can be reheated and reshaped multiple times before it gives up.

If you don't want to have your pistol in the holster during heating, you could probably do the reshaping using just oven mits/gloves... Or using a piece of wood (furring strip? several paint stirrers, etc) that would be a similar thickness
Hope this helps. :)
