Shield Holster(s)

If the Shield fits in some of those holsters that fit the Glock G26, I would be tempted to see if the Shield carries well in the Glock Sport/Combat holster. Perhaps someone who has the Shield can attempt this and let the audience know if this is possible. Thanks & Cheers.

Eh .. Bought a Galco G26 natural leather until my Raven Phantom and mag carrier arrived. I love both of them.

I like the look of that IWB mag carrier so I went to Raven's website. $34.99 for a mag carrier and then you still have to pay another $19.99 for the IWB loops!?! $55 for a single mag carrier, plus shipping? Are they crazy? I have bought custom Kydex from some of the best plastic benders in the business and this is just out of line! I even called Raven (quite a job finding their phone number on their website) to verify because this seemed do out of line.

I have been using a Desantis softuk made for G26, PPS and it fits very well and is quite comfortable. I've only been wearing it around the house as I wait my CCDW, so my experience is limited, but so far I like it.

I have been looking closely at the Raven, but the accessories up the price quite a bit.

Has anyone tried a n82tactical professional for the shield?

Have three already. A Galco OWB, sg652b. Old Faithful IWB and a Kusiak IWB I just got yesterday. The Tuff pocket holster for my Bodyguard wheelgun works too. Can't report on the first three. Summer here, the Tuff drops right into my shorts cargo pocket.

Currently have three holsters for my 9mm Shield, a DeSantis Insider IWB holster, a Tommy Theis hybrid IWB holster, and a N82tactical tuckable IWB holster. What I'm finding surpsising is that I actually like the N82tactical holster a whole lot more than the other two holsters. The tuckable holster is extremely comfortable to wear for long periods and fits both my primary (9mm Shield) and alternate (Colt GM .380) EDC weapons.

I just ordered one from www.hiddenhybridholsters.com a couple of weeks ago. I have not gotten it yet so I can't comment on it specifically. However, I like the fact that it can be worn as an IWB or OWB applications.

Blade-Tech Nano is done. Perfect amount of retention and carries really nice.
