I have an Old Faithful that I put together myself. They sell them as a kit or already complete. I love it. I also have a DeSantis Sof-Tuck that I intended to use just as a quick grab and go, for walking the dog, or a quick trip, but it turns out that it is quite comfortable, and is great for extended hours.

Here is a link to my Old Faithful setup, there is a video in there too.

I use the Desantis thumb break scabbard. I wear OWB and this keeps it tight against and the perfect height. I'm not big on the thumb break and considering cutting it off since the tension screw alone can hold the gun. Here's the link:

+1 on DeSantis Thumb Break Scabbard, and I like the thumb break. But my favorite is Remora worn IWB.

For now I'm using a DeSantis mini scabbard and it's pretty good. The only thing I don't like about it is the belt loop, it's rather a PITA to get on and off. I believe I'll order a Zlogonje snappy as soon as my XDs holster arrives.. Cheers.. Ron

I first used a Ramora IWB, which is OK, then I switched to a Crown Holsters Kydex IWB, Royal Modular Holster - Holsters. It's modular, so you can also get clips to wear OWB. I think it conceals better than the Ramora and is very comfortable.

Well I got my N82 Tactical original holster a couple of weeks ago & I really like it. Very comfy with the Shield & I have no problems drawing. So far it is the most comfortable holster I've tried.

I haven't got it yet, but I ordered a hybrid holster from Al Latour. I ordered the combat cut, less leather behind the grip and slide. The leather is suede backed, so it should be comfortable against the skin. Al was great to work with, he made the belt clip wider than normal for me and sent me photo's of it, unfinished and finished. I am out of the country and should have it next week. I like the compact size, the adjustable cant and suede backing. I will post again when I get it.

I like my N82 also.

For OWB I got sick of stringing the belt looped holsters so I got a Wild Bill's Fusion paddle holster. It has adjustable cant and works well. Was very tight so I needed to put the gun in plastic bags and let it sit for a couple of days to stretch. Very comfortable. It could hug a little better but it's a paddle holster. I like it. I am using an IWB from McCabe's Leather. It is well built and very comfy. I highly recommend taking a look at this one for IWB.

Holsters are all in how you intend to carry your weapon for extended periods of time. OWB, IWB, belly or shoulder holsters even ankle holsters.

I personally carry IWB (inside waist band) at about 4:00 to 5:00 o'clock small of back with either a vest or larger tee shirt or with a Minotaur MTAC Inside Waistband Holsters - Minotaur Holsters - products new home - Minotaur MTAC Holster

These are high quality Kydex leather holsters with superior quality Kydex forming including the M&P Shield name and fit. I did have a Crossbreed Super Tuck that I still have but do not use since I got the Minotaur MTAC, great comfort and good retention for use ... well anywhere!

Yes they are expensive but so is buying inferior products that fill up a drawer in your bedroom like they do in mine...gotta clean it out soon. Buy one well made holster and forget all the others.

Notice tight fitting jeans and a fairly close fitting tee shirt and an invisible gun, I am wearing this holster right now as I type this response the only thing you might notice is the belt clips that are black and I am not a large man. Hardly noticeable at all if I say so myself.

Got a DeSantis model 106-14 Sof-Tuck made for the shield for IWB which works great for me to CC. And a Bianchi size 10A molded nylon for OWB which now seems to be my favorite as I don't often carry concealed anyway. Nothing fancy or expensive but both work for me.

I highly recommend High Noon Holsters!
I carry IWB and their Public Secret is an awesome holster!

I have an Nate2 for IWB carry and just got an OWB holster from PJholsters for classes. I figured I'd train with what I'm going to carry, but I would compromise on the holster.
