I am one of the lefties that can not find a holster for my M&P Shields or Kahr PM9. I recently found this website: Stallion Leather - and spoke to a guy named Gary @ 1-414-764-7126, which I believe he is the owner. They make custom leather holsters at reasonable prices. I could not find one for my Kahr PM9, so he ordered the mold and made me one for $ 39.99 (S122), I love it. I asked him to make one for Shield, he ordered the mold called me and he now making it for me, I will have it in about 1 week. He makes left or right handed holsters. Hope this helps someone.

Which one did you buy? I have a shield & a Kahr CW9 I need a good holster for.

Mike

FYI... Comp-tac also makes a shield holster in LH or RH configs. I have been using their MTAC for my FS M&P .40 for about three years and love it. I just picked up my .40 Shield last night and ordered another holster from these guys.

I bought a Don Hume J.I.T. belt slide that fits a Taurus. The model is 53 709. It's left handed. I siliconed the interior and let the gun sit in it for two days. It's a perfect fit and snug enough to retain the Shield.

I purchased the (S122) on the belt style. If you don't see it on the list, call Gary.

Thanks, I'm a lefty also...

I want to order a "beater holster" so I think I'll call him...

I'm going to order my good holster from Kirk Patrick Leather

Carry concealed holsters and accesories - 2000 Challenger 2000

I have a few other holsters from them and I really like them...

The trouble I'm having is I need a holster to fit the Shield with the Crimson Trace laser on it, I've found other left handed holsters and other left handed holster that work with the CT, but I like a Thumb Break holster, so I need to order a custom made one right now because there are no LH TB W/CT holsters out there right now...

I hope that guy you list can make one...

What number did you order???

I like the looks of the S106, that's the one I'm going to ask him to make...

This is the first good news I've heard about holsters for the Shield. Im calling Gary tomorrow and see if he can make a nice shoulder holster fo me.
I don't like ankle or Small of Back carry for my back-up gun. The primary is my Les Baer .45ACP on the hip in a Milt sparks VMII.
Thanks!
All the best,
TJ

How did you make out with shoulder holster?

If what a holster that fits Baby Glocks, the Shields, Walther PPS, Ruger SR9C, SR40C and Kahr PM9 and I am sure there are others, try Active Pro Gear Gun Concealment holsters, shoulder holsters, leather holster one holster that I found that fits a lot of my guns. I bought the 27-26 Quick Release Belt and fits all of the above, I love it, because I can change guns like you change shirts. It is very comfortable and it hold securely against your waist and comes with removable thumb break, left or right handed. It not a show holster, it made to be concealed. I must own at least 25 holsters and this one I use the most.

I got my last couple IWB holsters from DM Bullard. His website is dmbullardleather.com

Great quality!

I have the FoxX Trapp and Little FoxX from FoxX Holsters out of Detroit. Quality product, good price, and great customer service. I know they make them for lefties.

I'm a Left Hander also.

For those that are thinking of picking up holsters here's a few idea's:

Kirkpatrick Holsters:

Kirkpatrick Concealment Holsters

I have one of their Challenger 2000 Holsters on order:

Concealment gun holsters and accesories - 2000 Challenger 2000

I also ordered the 2000 for some of my 1911's, a 3" and a 5" 1911. They are great holsters and are well made, but the big thing is they are very "wearing friendly", I hardly know it's there.

I like Thumb Break Holsters, so for you folks that don't like them you can use their 2010 Holster:

I have one of their black and one brown Pro Carry On Duty Holsters:

I have one of their Mini Scabbard Holsters:

I have one of their Nemesis Pocket Holsters and one of their Super Fly Holsters:

Here's what they have for all Shield Holsters:

I'm a leftie also, and got myself a DeSantis 3-hole thumb break scabbard to match the Bianchi Piranha thumb break scabbard I have for my M&P45. I like the DeSantis because it has the adjustable retention screw.

I also have a Kydex-Leather hybrid holster (similar to crossbreed holster, of which I bought one for my XD-9 subcompact) made by Old Faithful Holsters (Old Faithful Holsters - The Holster Store of Most Comfortable Gun Holsters). I bought the stage 3 assembly kit, assembled it in about 20 minutes and it broke in after about 2-3 weeks of wear.

I think the Shield is probably one of the most comfortable ultra-compact pistols I've ever shot. I did, however add a Hogue grip wrap to mine, to fill out my palm, making it feel almost like a full size pistol. It's got a fiber optic front sight (aftermarket), and follow up shots are amazingly easy to place on target with deadly accuracy.

I love this gun along with the entire M&P line of pistols. Glad to see lots of other lefties loving theirs as well.

If you want to give kydex a try. We make IWB & OWB holster for the Shield. Check out our website and see if we can help.. .
