I find that paddle holsters and pancake holsters print too much for my liking here in Africa hot Texas. I use a Vedder Light Tuck IWB and am happy with its low profile and comfort.

I have a DeSantis 002 X7 and could not be more pleased.

This is my exact OWB Shield carry holster. Love it! I also have an Outbags IWB that I really like. Now if I want to mount a laser I have to buy all new holsters. Take that into consideration if you think you might want to mount a laser later.

All of the above concealment holsters are good holsters depending on your body shape. In my humble opinion, the very best concealed carry holster is the humble Kangaroo holster. I can carry easily all day anywhere with my Shield glued to my upper body sitting or standing. The weight distribution makes in very comfortable. I still love my good leather holsters but the Kangaroo doesn't pull your pants down even with elastic waist bands. I use it a lot.

Bravo Concealment BCA with pancake loops. The best OWB I have found hands down. Nothing comes close for the price when concealing OWB IMO.

I have a DeSantis 002 X7 and could not be more pleased.

After being on vacation for almost 2 weeks in Wyoming and Colorado I used that time to look at all the recommended holsters and collect my thoughts. After getting home I made my decision and placed my order for this holster, the Desantis Speed Scabbard. Received it in the mail today, put it on and gave it a whirl. So far it appears to be exactly what I was looking for but time will tell. Thanks for all the input. Some great holsters and makers out there.
