Bought a used 9 mm shield which jammed (stove pipe) even after 2 trips back to the factory. I discovered that the ejection rod was lose, told the factory and they finally fixed it Now, after a few thousand rounds, it is slightly lose again and is jamming again. Suggestions?Anyone else have this problem?

What is an ejection rod?

It goes in a 9mm Shield revolver, I think:eek:

OP, reading you other two posts about this same problem, you say it's a NEW pistol and now you say you bought it used. Is this the same pistol? Start by thoroughly cleaning the gun and pay particular attention to the extractor as this is where everyone always forgets to clean well.

Right. I was going to ask if S&W took it in when you weren't the original owner.

A little bit more snark than usual in this thread.

Look, if you don't have any gunsmithy skills, sending it back to S&W is the way to go. Fixing a loose ejector or extractor is probably not as simple as tightening a screw or tapping a pin.
