I could manipulate my tlr with gloves, depending on how they're made. I went with the tlr so I didn't have to modify my grip or pressure to turn the light off. And my fiber naturally goes to the button when I draw the gun.Crimson Trace also makes a laser/light for the shield now, too. Both red and green laser, green being $100 more:

I'll probably be picking one of these up soon. Looks like a great unit. I was tempted to get a TLR, but the fact it won't work with gloves is kind of a show stopper. I use a lot of different gloves, and don't think their stick on deals would work for me, or give me much confidence, personally.
Yeah, see, I don't want it to "depend" on stuff like that. I want it to work regardless of what gloves I may have on.I could manipulate my tlr with gloves, depending on how they're made.
We have 4 shields, two with CT lasers, 2 with no lasers. We do not notice any difference in the grip between them, and we do not have to modify our grip at all. Can't tell it's there really.I went with the tlr so I didn't have to modify my grip or pressure to turn the light off. And my fiber naturally goes to the button when I draw the gun.
If you know what gloves you wear on a day to day you'll know if it works. That's what my point was. I don't wear gloves even working outside in winter so I don't have that to factor in.
