I am really liking my new Shield Pachmayr Tactical Grip-Gloves. I had Talon Grips on and really like them as they were the only grip option around for a while. The Talons did start to come off at the overlap so order another set of Talons which I trimmed so there was no overlap and they have been working fine for me. Thought I would try the new for shield anyway Tactical Grip-Glove and like them even more than the Talon grips. I just slid the Pachmayr over the Talon grips. The Pach. even have a little palm swell in them for an even better grip IMHO. Nothing wrong with the Talon grips but think I like the Pachmayr better. There isn't that much difference in $$ either.

So where's the pictures of it on your Shield? Pics, or it didn't happen. :D
What size/model # ?
Did you get it straight from Pachmayr, or find it at a LGS?

Probably too long for the Shield though you could trim it. The Handall Jr. is just about right, if you get it onto the grip carefully to avoid mag release issues at the top and mag issues at the bottom.

Is there maybe a model number or something on the packaging of the grip? I went on their site & didn't see anything specifically for the Shield.

I finally received my Pachmayr Slip On Grip today. It feels pretty comfortable & is nice & grippy. I'm looking forward to a range trip to see how it works out.

I put these on my M&P 22 and the M&P FS 9 and they move arround a lot when the gun heats up. Took em off and put em in a drawer. They do feel great though.

I had the Talon Grips already on my Shield before I put the Pachmayr for the shield on my gun which may have given the Pachmayr sleeve something better to grip on to and they don't move at all but can see where when on over the stock grips they might move some. I would think a small piece of 2 way tape might stop the grip movement. I personaly find the new Pachmayr made to fit sleeve for the shield works great with the slight palm swell and tacky grip. It is a lot more hand filling grip now.

How long is it taking people to get their grip gloves from Lyman? i ordered mine on Apr. 12 and haven't heard anything from them about it being shipped.
