Hi folks,
I recently purchased a new Shield Plus as an upgrade to my EDC Sheild 1.0 which I love, and have been using since 2015.
However, I'm not a fan of the new aggressive stippling on the Plus' mag release.
I CC both IWB and OWB as circumstances and garment choices may dictate, and as I've heard others mention, that aggressive stippling on the Plus' mag release reeks havoc on my bare skin when I CC IWB, as I don't care to wear undergarment tops.

So, I was wondering if anyone that has had this issue has replaced their mag release with an aftermarket, and if so, can provide a link.
I really prefer not to grind, file or use some type of tape on the original release.
I also do not want to buy a new holster that will cover the mag release, if possible, as I already have a couple (that do not cover it) which I use and like.

Appreciate any info you may have to offer.

I always wear an undergarment and have never had an issue with the OEM mag release. It worked for me. I didn't find it too aggressive either.

However, I wanted an extended release, so I didn't have to adjust my grip while doing a mag swap. I bought the one from NDZ performance gun parts labeled: "NDZ Extended Magazine Release for Smith & Wesson Shield Plus" and have it on both of my shield plus pistols as well as the one for the 9EZ. I just checked their website, and they are out of stock. I'd go to their website and check it out.

It doesn't have stippling on it like the grip so maybe that will help you out.
