Talk about polar extremes -- Shield Plus vs 4566 TSW !
I just nabbed the Shield off the big auction site for $266, which seemed a fair price, mostly on the strength of its reviews (led by Honest Outlaw on YouTube) even though I really don't "need" it, except I don't own any micro carry guns, just "regular" carry pieces ala 3914LS, Sig P250c in .45, and SW99c in .40; and some J-frames and some others.
So what am I in for? Would love to hear from folks here if anyone cares to comment.
And I was checking on some of the stuff in the safe (if anything needed oil) and pulled out the 4566, which I haven't shot in a while. I'd forgotten how good the trigger was. DA was smooth and it didn't take two guys and a come-along to pull it; and the SA was all one could ask for. It'll be with me on my next trip to the range, as will the Shield.
I kinda laughed at the thought of the two of them together --- one BIG and heavy and stainless the other small enough to destined for my pocket I hope. (Big pockets on my cargo pants.)
