Shield Plus Bug Out Bundle

I did a search and found a thread about the bundle from 2020, but nothing newer. If there is I apologize. Anyway, even though I have and like a P365, I've always wanted the plus since they came out. I already have a first gen M&P compact, full size, Body Guard... you get the picture I'm sure. Anyway, I never warmed to the original Shield because I'm a south paw and prefer the ability to switch the magazine release and don't like a frame safety. The plus changed all that. Anyway, time passed and as I got older the thought of a red dot got more appealing too. Enter the new Shield Bug Out Bundle availabe from local and on-line dealers. It was more than I could resist, came with an optics ready Shield with night sights, NTS, a "bug out" bag and 3 extra 13-round magazines (plus a dinky first aid kit). All for a good bit less than what just the plain Shield Plus sold for a few short months ago. Anyway, for anyone considering a new Shield, I think it's a heck of a deal!

I just stopped over here because I just purchased this same kit after Smith reduced the price by $100.00 dollars. Kind of funny, the rebate was the reason I bought my first Shield 9MM. It is the performance center so it will not accept a red dot optic. Back on topic, I had a J Point red dot that fits perfectly but I was hoping Holosun made something that fit, but I have heard conflicting stories about the 507K fitment and one sight actually stated Holosun has discontinued this model. Curious if anyone has installed and been satisfied with the Holosun.

good deal. such a kit costs 2500 in california and you need to wait until a police officer lists it on the private market. which is rare. shield plus is a keep forever kind of gun

Just picked up one of these bundles, and I still can’t believe what a deal it was. $449 with free shipping and no sales tax. I don’t know if it will replace my P365XL, but I just couldn’t pass it up. Just tried to find one at local Scheels. No luck. Bought a standard manual safety plus model for $399 + tax. Looking for info re: dealing with super stiff 13 round magazine. Info appreciated.
EDIT: Then this evening S&W sent me an email re: the $100 Shield Plus discount - but - the "announced special price" was $100 off a price of $499. Go figure.
Anyway, the trigger is great and 12 round fit the 13 round mag...what's not to like?

The 13rd mag definitely needs a mag loader of some kind, and even then, the first few times loading it to capacity can be difficult.
I use an Uplula for all my handgun mags, but there are many different designs of varying price available.
