Just picked this thing up. Really like the sights. Shot pretty well just getting the hang of things. Shot some steel and a little paper at about 10 yards. Hits were easy.
The frame mars easier than the original Shield I have. The finish is different…maybe better. The crispness of the safety and slide release are worse, but the trigger feel is better.
The grip surface, angle and relief is much better that the older Shields.
Next, I need to figure out what optic to put on it. I have looked at CT, Holosun, Swampfox and Trijicon. They all suck for some reason. Looks like CT RAD PRO is winning as least sucky!
As for the Shield Plus, I’d rate it a strong buy. Better trigger, better sights, and optics ready for $450.
