Shield Plus grip plug????

Anyone know if there is a grip plug available on the market yet for the shield plus or is it still too soon??

In the "old" Shield the plug was known to make the extended mag very hard to insert.

If you remove the magazine you will see a hollow opening at the back of the grip similar to a Glock.

Ok, a few other companies make them for the Shield, so it’s only a matter of time until someone, I’ll bet Pearce first, makes one for the Plus.

Magazine spacer I didn’t think of that. Could now see how it might be hard to use the extended mag if you didnt have a flush fitting pug. Hope to see one in the market soon though. Keeps the dust and debris out of the grip space. All of mine get filled with hair when I’m behind the chair working.

Have you considered making one yourself, utilizing silicone glue/caulk?
Silicone is pliable when dried, easy to remove/replace if need be and could be applied to be flush, so it would not impede an extended mag.

Those plugs prevent you from pulling out your magazine should it malfunction and be stuck. Sometimes there's a reason for that open space.
