Shield Plus in 30 SC now too.

We've already seen one example of a 9EZ MIM breech block shattered. Was it a fluke? Possibly, but the increased pressure of the 30SC will let us know for sure.
I'd really love to believe that their eggheads figured that into the design.

The good news.. Smith and Federal are teaming up to bring new technology to the market. The bad new.. Smith and Federal are teaming up to bring new technology to the market. At this time with the ammo shortage? I haven't seen any 30's on any shelf at any dealer in my area. Just a bad move and a recipe for failure. IMHO

Who remember the .327 magnum along with .32 HR mag and how many handguns are chambered for those calibers today ? S & W had a long run with the .40 but its been fading the last few years as some dealers won't stock the .40 non sellers.

The .30 Super will follow the same path

Fairly certain Ruger has more 327 offerings now, than they ever have. Smith and Taurus dropped there 327 offerings, not much of a loss on the Taurus side.

Not me, not now

Notice what ammo is available at gun stores now. Military roots calibers. 7.62, 5.56, 9mm. Try finding as much 30-30or 38 spl. Where the 327? I expect the same of this cartridge.
I don't want more capacity. Give me 9mm power in a 380size gun. Then you have my attention

Those who pooh-pooh 2 more rounds forget that the key question for all Internet Ninjas must be "but what if there are (2 more)?"; that 2 is 1 and 1 is none so 12 is 8 and 8 is never enough; that new= improved and 2+2 = +P.

Thats why some of carry spare mags and practice mag swaps even practice tap rack bang drills that some else loaded with snap caps !

A 9mm Shield Plus has a maximum capacity of 13+1.

A 30 Super Carry Shield Plus has a maximum capacity of 15+1.

Smith & Wesson calls that minor difference "revolutionary". I don't think so.

How about a Glock 48x with a Shield Arms 15round magazine that fits in the space of the Glock 10 round mag, and that's with 9mm loads, now that's revolutionary.....

Just sayin..... I don't need another caliber/cartridge, nothing wrong with what we already have and use...
