I purchased my S&W M&P Shield in 9mm when they first arrived on the market and it quickly became my EDC pistol. I carry mine in a Concealment Solutions Sidewinder holster that is a very comfortable and concealable OWB holster. The 9mm Shield has a great trigger and sights and conceals very nicely. So far it has eaten everything I've fed it without any problems or failures of any kind. I practice with 124 grain FMJ and carry it with Cor-Bon 115 grain +P JHP that will get the job done if necessary. One of the best carry pistols on the market today.
