Shield Safety plug?

Just curious, does M&P offer plugs for the frame on Shield's that have had the safety taken out?

Don't think there are plugs that have been made, but I made one for mine while leaving the safety in place which accomplishes the same end. I've had my Shield since May, 2012 and its been in there the whole time pretty much. It works great and never been an issue. Maybe at some point I will buy a NTS Shield, but for now this will suffice.

Why not just flip safety off, myself I like having a safety if I want to use it. It isnt much time or trouble to flip off, and it may keep you from shooting yourself or someone else.

It's what I currently do, but I simply DESPISE safeties on anything other than a 1911 and would prefer to get rid of the damn thing.

Has anyone tried fitting a frame plug from the full size models? It looks like it may fit.
