shield

I think a lot of us GLOCK owners have been wanting a small, compact, light trigger pull, single stack gun. I should add, a quality gun. Doesn't look like GLOCK is interested. The G26 is a nice gun but that extra thickness of the double stack makes it a little harder to conceal. I think S&W has hit a home run with the Shield's single stack and striker action. As soon as the price settles it will replace my Ruger LC9.

The SHIELD is a bit thinner and shorter than the Bersa but the Bersa has a phenomenal trigger from factory. A front Fiberoptic sight and a lighter trigger will make this Shield perfect for me.

I like my customized G26,but at this point I am so happy that S&W upstaged the arrogant Austrian with the single stack compact nine.

shield conversion?

I wonder if apex will have a trigger set for this?
I wonder if storm lake will have a barrel for this?
I wonder if 9mm shield mags fit in the .40mm shield?
Conversion for a shield .40 would be sooo nice.

S&W already has a BUG out .. the Bodyguard.380 IMO the Shield is a tad too big to be a BUG. Better carried in a holster, not the pocket.

No need to apologise. This is America we need to protect our right to freedom of speech. I embrace opposing views as long as they are civil.

Personally if the Shield is as reliable as everyone is reporting S&W could name it dung gun and I would buy it.
