Does anyone know where an M&P 9mm Shield can be purchased?

Thanks in advance,

Grabagun.com or Stockers in Ohio. I have bought one from each of these places. I liked Grabagun on facebook and the posted that they were about to post some shields forsale on their website. I called instead of waiting and they sold me one over the phone before they post for sale on their website.

Just keep an eye out everywhere.

Shedhorn Sports in Ennis Montana. You can check their inventory on the internet. They had 5 Sheilds for a special hunting sales and the S&W rep had just brought them in. You can Google them.

Find a Shield

Carter's Country has 4 stores in Houston and they get trucks in on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. You can call and see if they get any or get on their waiting list and they will call you when they come in. They never last long and never go into counter inventory. Maybe things will improve after the election.

I got a lead last week about Shipton's Big R store in Billings, Montana. They had several in both 9mm and .40 in stock. Ordered mine through them on Wednesday and was holding it in my hands at my FFL dealer on Monday.

Trying checking galleryofguns.com is where I bought mine. Also if you see gun show, go check it out, you might get lucky. I went last weekend, on two day show, and on Sunday late afternoon found two Shields sitting on the tables.

Shedhorn in Montana has a bunch of Shields if you are willing to pay $449 for one...

$449 is a very reasonable price. If you want cheap, go buy a different gun company's gun. You (mostly) get what you pay for. The Shield is a gun for self-defense.

When I first started riding motorcycles (late in life), I was told, "If you have a hundred dollar head, buy a hundred dollar helmet." Your call.

There are plenty of places selling for $400 or a bit less. I got mine for $390 ( +tax ). There's no reason to pay MSRP or higher. There's a difference between 'Buying Cheap' and shopping around (and not letting the money burn a hole in your pocket). ;)

Found one myself at a gunshow this past weekend for $379. It apparently was the only one there. Talk about luck!!

I lucked out one day.

One day not to long ago, I called Carter's Country Spring location and asked if they had any in stock. Luckily for me they told me that had 4 in stock at that time. I live about 5 miles from there...so within an hour, I had a new Shield 9 in my possession.

Great little gun! I carry it in a cheap DeSantis Sof-Tuck and its hardly noticeable at all. I'll probably carry something a bit bigger when it cools off, but for now it's perfect.

So far I have only shot around 200 rounds through it ranging from 115 FMJ to 147 Ranger Bonded, 124 GDs and it has never skipped a beat.

You can't go wrong with a Shield...but we all know that. :D

In stock but only for in-person sales

Just called 2 Shipton's Big R stores (east & Sheridan locations) this AM. Both have shields in stock for ~$440 but only for face-to-face sales. Too far for me, but in case it helps someone else...
