I think a shockwave would make a great truck gun and I am seeing them on Gun Broker for $350 to $400. With shipping and transfer $390 or so. The local pawn shop has one for $450. I offered $375 OTD. He came back with $425 plus tax. About $460 OTD. Should I have went with the $460 or hold off for a better deal? Never dealt with Gun Broker so I would prefer not to go that way. Hoping price will drop as time goes on.

I personally think that is too much. I paid about $390 shipped as I recall. But they seem to be out of stock again at many of the online dealers.

I'm a long ways from Missouri but they're 389 and in-stock at the LGS I frequent... I thought I "needed" one but changed my mind once I found out that Aguila (sp?) apparently stopped making the short 12-ga rounds.

It is all relative....do you want to wait, do you really want one, is 70 dollars, the difference in what Cat1835 paid to what you can get yours for at your local shop, a deal breaker? If one were in my neck of the woods, north Texas, I would buy it at the 460 OTD price. But the reality is when they show up on line you have to scurry around to find one and beat everyone else to it. In your case you get to leisurely look at it, handle it and basically get an overall feel for it as to whether it will work for you or not. Those that buy online are subject to the whims of the internet sellers in terms of what condition it gets to you in and whether it is something that fits you......go buy it, but offer him a counter offer to his counter offer. That is part of the fun of buying locally you can dicker and see if you come out on top......he has to make some money......he ain't gettin rich off of that sale that is for sure.

Grabagun has them listed for $379.00 with $7.99 shipping. No tax involved just your FFL. I'd rather get a new gun then one in a pawn shop. Kentucky gun company $359.99 again no tax just FFL. I'm not sure about shipping cost.

the gun in Question is new and as far as internet sales I have bought upwards off 25 guns from Buds over the years and never a problem.but Buds is out of stock and would be nice to take gun home the day I bought it, but seeing some of the prices you all told me about I think I will wait until Buds gets one in or find one close by at a better price.

The shockwave in the pawnshop have a sliver colored raceiver a Davidson's special the clerk said.

Where did you get this information? I can't find any reference to it and they are still listed on the Aguila website.

I bought one at the local gun show this weekend for $359.00 plus tax, total of $380.00. It was new in box from a volume dealer.

the price at Kentucky gun looked good and has free shipping so I ordered one. Never done business with them but reviews are good so I will see how it goes.

Targetsportsusa, the site that sells 1000 rd cases of ammo with free shipping, has the Shockwave for $369 with free shipping. You pay that, + ffl.

They also have the Remington 870 Tac 14 with raptor grip, $399 with free shipping.

I recently paid to join a local range so I can go all the time, including before and after hours (they gave us a magnetic key and code to the security alarm when we joined). Family deal, will still come out ahead if my son and I go more than once a month, which we do.

They have a Shockwave available for rent, I held it but didn't succumb to renting it yet. They want $499 to buy one... but they want $20 for FFL transfers
