Thanks to a good guy I met on another board, I got to play with a bunch of guns today!
My 3953TSW http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c8LqPPQQLB0
Plus, a suppressed Sig 226 with 9mm and .22 upper. First time I ever shot a suppressed weapon. With the .22 upper I pulled the trigger and thought something was wrong. "Did it shoot?" I asked my buddy? He laughed.
Couldn't believe it. Felt like a mild BB gun. Sounded like- almost nothing.
Then I shot the same gun in 9mm suppressed. WICKED COOL! Accuracy wasn't affected at all.
Wondering if the suppressor would somehow throw off regular use- he said just try without it. So, I did with both .22 and 9mm. Same accuracy- just much louder.
He also had a Ruger LCP .380 he uses as ccw.
Hard others praise this weapon. Well, I didn't take to it. Perhaps those that praise it are used to a keltec or something. My shots were WAY off from 20ft. WHY the front sight has no contrast on it (white or yellow) I don't get.
I'd prefer a S&W 642- personally.
He also has a GS5 rifle. Neat for a $500 rifle.
He also had an HK P30 which fits my hand perfectly with the smallest backstrap on. He had the larger backstrap. It was still a VERY nice weapon.
They were a lot of fun, but I did want to get more familiar with my 3953.
After all that shooting I became more accurate with my 3953. I like this gun a lot and am starting to appreciate the DAO trigger.
