Shot timer couldn't hear CCI Green Tag

I tried the 15-22 A1-style Comp in a steel match Sunday but the rounds were so quiet, the RO's shot timer had trouble registering the shots.

Switched to Federal bulk high speed HP and it seemed to cross the decibel threshold for the timer.

Strange little glitch, eh?

Im thinking about downloading one of the shot timer apps for my smart phone. im not sure how accurate they are buy im interested to try it and i think some are free.

The timer may have a sensitivity dial. Useful when using them indoors to cut down on shots registering from neighboring lanes or outdoor when the RO doesn't follow the shooter very closely.
