I purchased a discontinued Pachmayr Compac grip from Tom today. The grip was in excellent shape, it was priced well, and Tom even offered to meet me nearby since we happened to live in close enough proximity. Some greatly appreciated friendly conversation later, and my Taurus 856 looks and feels a hell of a lot better than it did with the thin Altamont laminate grips that came on it originally.
