Should I get this one ?

Well about 2 years a go I had a hard time getting $500 for one just like it. Now in my area I cant find one under $700.

On the grips I have a set and like them. Oh I also got them in the box with the instructions.

Good thing you have sharp eyes. I hate getting worked up over something just to have the balloon pop. Very sad...sad..sad

My eyes are not as sharp as they used to be ;) I do have a 30X Jeweler Eye Loupe Loop with an led light. I always check the cones especially on model 19s.

I'll keep my eyes peeled for another. I really like the nickel one "Combat" was kind enough to share. Perhaps I'll be lucky to find one like his.;)

Sounds like a good price IF the forcing cone wasn't damaged. is this the sort of damage people talk about coming from shooting the lighter (110-125 gr) hot JHP loads?
There was a 2-1/2" pinned M19 with Eagle Secret Service boot grips advertised online locally a few weeks ago for $550 . I'm generally just interested in j frames but it really caught my eye so I offered $475 and was turned down. I've owned two 4" SB model 19's and I have no desire for another although they were great guns. But that snubby just looked right.

Does anyone read the entire thread, or do they just do a drive-by posting? Two replies advise the OP to buy it, even after he posted the M19 has a cracked forcing cone.

Maybe they still thought it was good deal?

I read through the thread, guess I just missed the posts about the cracked forcing cone. So call me a drive-by, I guess. I ammended my post to reflect the missed info.
