S&W M&PC 9mm. Sportsmans Warehouse has them for $479.99. With my gun club membership I get a 5% discount. I also have a $25 gift certificate and a $5 credit so I'd be looking at about $445 OTD.

I've got a very nice M39 and a CZ-75b though I don;t use either for CCW. I've no experience with the M&P other than handling one a few times at the gun counter.

What do you all think regarding the M&P in general but more so the M&P C in particular? TIA

My 9c is a very nice pistol, thoroughly reliable and very accurate. It's a very natural shooter for me, and conceals very well IWB. I think you'll be very happy with it.

Thanks for the reply. Looks like I'm going to be waiting a while longer. Picked up a LNIB Colt Trooper MKIII from 1976 this weekend so my gun money is shot for a while.

MKIII, what a tank that one is. The first .357 I ever shot. Believe it or not, I recall a twin brother MKIII in .22 caliber. A few years back I bought a used Ruger because I couldn't find a used MKIII. You'd think there'd be a few here in Hartford. Go figure.

The first firearm I ever bought was a nickle MkIII back in September of 1978, long since sold. Seeing this one almost exactly 30 years later was too good to pass up. It's not nickle but it sure feels the same. I'll not be selling this one.

I've only shot the M&P in .40, but if I wanted to use a 9mm for CCW, I think you already have the ideal choice in your M39.
