Looks like you're just trolling for members to your web site?

There's nothing "urgent" about this poll at all. For those who may have missed it, the United States Supreme Court just held that states and municipalities cannot ban handguns, so opinions to the contrary are meaningless.

Nope, it isn't my website. I am not affiliated with PersonalLiberty.com in any way whatsoever. I just thought forum members might want to express their views. Looks like I was wrong and just set myself up for abuse. Sorry...

I didn't mean any offense. It's just that polls like this are pointless. Regardless of whether people "think" states should or should not have this power, they don't. I'd like to think that anyone who joins this forum is expressing their views in favor of handgun ownership, but from a legal standpoint it's no longer up for discussion.

I think at least this much is very clear SCOTUS finds that a total ban of handguns used for self-protection in the home is unconstitutional.
Certainly some handguns might be restricted and some people prevented from owning them. Just my personal opinion but I think for example that restrictions on magazine size might be allowed. How this all might sort out as far as carrying handguns outside the home is yet to be decided.

I would think that the question asked by this group might be more appropriate to ask among some group that wanted to lobby for repeal of the Second Amendment and no doubt people like that are out there.

Oh my gosh! Is it too late to participate in the poll? I really want my opinion to be heard and it is my understanding that constitutional issues are sometimes decided by popular vote on internet polls! I love guns and so I vote in every internet poll on that topic. Sometimes several times!!

Here's my name! Here's my e-mail address and phone number and other pertinent marketing data to sell to spammers. Just COUNT MY VOTE!!
