For years I have carried auto pistols in either a belt or a pocket holster. Lately I have become intriqued by shoulder holsters and have questions regarding their use.It seems to me that a cross draw holster is the only to do it? I have had no experience with this type of rig so please dont laugh at this poor left handed senior citizen. Any suggestions?

I make shoulder holsters in a horizontal style, thumb-break retention, for many popular handguns. You are invited to my website, and I will be happy to help you design your holster to your needs and preferences.

Lobo is highly regarded by many members on this forum,
I'd give him a try.

Due to living in the hot, southern New Mexico, my shoulder carry is mostly seasonal. I use two: Safariland & Galco. I find them comfortable and easily accessible. BTW, you'll find that some will accommodate more than one model or style pistol.

I am also left handed. I have trouble caring a gun
in a holster on my side. The weight keeps pulling my
pants down around my knees. I know thats the style
now but it's just not for me. Might try a shoulder holster
when cooler weather comes. Don

Thanks guys for your response. The Lobo holsters sure look good on the web site.

my only problem with them is that they don't conceal great unless you have on some sort of a jacket, which is a problem for me because Alabama is pretty hot year around with the exception of 1-2 months
