Shoulder rigs?

All,
On occasion, I currently use a Gould and Goodrich shoulder rig for my 2-3" J-frames. Its OK and well made, but I'm looking for alternatives in shoulder rigs. Any suggestions?

My favorite is the Andrews Custom Leather Monarch. Mine can swap between J Frames and 1911's.

We have several holster makers as members here on the forum and you should check out their products. You might also look at the rigs by Ken Null and the Galco Executive (utilitarian vs. luxury). They're both excellent holsters if a shoulder rig is what you want. I don't bother because a J frame fits too nicely in my pocket.

I use a Miami Classic II by Galco when I use a shoulder rig. I have been pleased with the set up, and have one for my Glock, a 1911 and my trusty J Frame. It just takes some experience to be comfortable wearing one, and a good vest, or slightly oversize jacket does not hear either. I use one depending on how I am going to br dressed and what I am doing.

I use the SMZ from KL Null holsters because it fits J frames of any barrel configuration or length with one holster.

If you're looking for deep concealment and speed of draw is not essential the Kramer Confidant undershirt holster is fantastic. I've carried J-frames, a Kahr PM40 and my Glock 23 and 27 in total comfort. It has a holster under each arm. With practice I can draw fairly quickly and it's totally comfortable. I much prefer it to my other shoulder rigs.
