Smith & Wesson RB Combats on top, Nill on bottom. Each of these covers the backstrap, which aids me in shooting, though neither is the best for pocket carry. The Nills are my absolute favorite grips, I have never tried a pair that didn't make the firearm feel like an extension of my hand.

Hello.

SWM642HOGripTile1jpg002.jpg

Another set of the inexpensive HideOut Grips. These are on a 642 carried every day for years and they've been relieved to work with speedloaders.

Best.

Where'd you get those grips from? I like the Diamond in the middle with the S&W Medallion. They look original like that. Please let me know.
Got 'em from www.gungripsupply.com Great grips, but not S&W factory.

Yeah, I guessed they were not factory but I like customs that resemble originals. Those look good to me. I am looking for a set for a 642. Will these work well for a females (smaller) hands?

Where can the hideout grips be purchased?
What do they feel like?

If everyone might consider listing the grip as well as depicting it/them in photographs it would be helpful to newbies and even those of us with some experience. Also, comments as to recoil with +P, etc., would be appreciated.

I would post photos but I have nothing special.
For carry and shooting I have Hogue Bantams and Monogrips in rubber. My hand is building up with the Bantams so that I am near shooting/carry them exclusively.

Are there any grips comparable to the Bantams? I don't think so when you want concealability and light weight. Also, I think they're better for pain of recoil than the stock UM boot grips.

I'm considering a pair of the Hideout Grips, but I'm curious as to their actual weight.

And I don't have a clue as to which of them I'd prefer or would be a better choice.

My Hogue Bantams actually weigh in at only 1.4 oz. on my digital postal scale.
