There is nothing I like more than old gunleather. I often get it cheap because no one wants them so I pick them up now and again for my wheelguns, I even like the old belt slides too. So lets see some older holsters, scabbards and the like.
This is an old Tex Shoemaker holster I was given that was covered in dirt and grime and the original finish was worn off. It was in an old nail cask that had been lying around for years. I cleaned it up, dyed it and carried my 4-inch M & P in. I don't have the gun but I kept the holster because the shop owner passed away not long after and I am just waiting for another 4-inch K-frame for it. I really would like a Model 19, maybe an early Model 15 I am not sure yet.
when I got it.....
Here is a JayPee belt slide and an older style dual cartridge drop, also Jay Pee. I have another belt slide that is Bucheimer and a single cartridge pouch that is metal lined.
A US shoulder holster for a K-frame. I ended up giving it to a friend of mine who was skinnier and could actually wear it.
This is my favorite outdoor trail holster. I picked this one up cheap at a local gun shop, a nice Bianchi that I snagged for $10. I get alot of nice holsters that way. I dyed it and cleaned it up but it is probably the best riding holster I have for my Model 27 next to my SimplyRugged. On the left is a Tex Shoemaker speedloader pouch I got for $5 and my JayPee slide.
I have a few more somewhere, a George Lawrence holster that once belonged to John Hart, the actor who stood in for Clayton Moore for one season as The Lone Ranger and an older Bianchi that I tote my Outdoorsman in that someone dyed black but didn't do the best job with so I want to do it again when I get the chance.
