I see a lot of guys and gals carrying these, so how about a thread on them? Post some pictures of your stainless J-frame revolvers. I only have the one (for now) my little 649 which I love to carry and shoot.

Gdogs, that 640 must be a handfull with those Barami's on it, eh? I'm thinking about picking up a 642 for use as a bug.

I usually just shoot (and carry) 38's in it, so it's not bad. The Mag-Na-Porting helps a little with the 357 rounds, but yes, it can sting a bit. I usually have a Tyler T-grip on it too.

I went through a lot of J-frames for CC...60, 40, 640, 940, 042, 442, 642...but I think I finally found one I can settle on, the 640-1. It has the perfect balance of weight, power and controllability for my CC needs.

I have a hogue bantam grip on it now. I also have the 'sticky' brand pocket holster. Works great.

I've owned firearms for almost 40 years...since I was 10 years old but never owned a wheel gun. I was in my buddies gun shop in the spring and was in the mood to buy something. Since I own most of the M&P series and the FNX series I thought what the heck, ill try something different. I bought this beauty. 642 Airweight Talo. It's now my summer carry when I'm not in the Communist Republic of Illinois...right front pocket.
