This is a request from a "revolver guy" I have, of late, been thinking of "branching out" into S&W autoloaders. Did these come in nickel?
Regards,
Ralph

Not nickle, but a 39 none-the-less. Actually a 39-2. I bought it back in the 70s. I threw away the box and most of the papers. Who knew that it would be a classic?

Here is my Nickel 39-2 nestled in a S&W Presentation Case. I still have the original box, tools, and paperwork as well. One of my all time favorite pistols.

I believe I prefer the blue guns to the nickle. I just wasn't sure that the Model 39 was offered in nickel. Nice guns everyone, anymore?
regards and thanks,
Ralph

No, but they did come in nickel...

I used to have a brace of these...down to just this one - with Nill stocks, of course...

How about a 39-nothing? This was my first issued duty gun.

Galleta Loco,
I figured it out:
I pulled my 3906 mags out, with the 3913 and 4040PD to mix and match.
It's the 3906 magazine with the finger extension base from a 3913LS/NL or a 4040PD.
You could also use the flat ones, it adds a round with the 9 round followers.
Regards,
BM1

This one came to me after my father passed away. I know the 39 series autos were replaced with an improved product but I've had nothing but perfect running with this 39-2 after several thousand rounds.

Moetech,
What type of wood are the stocks on the model 59 and who made them? Nice.
