Like many here on the forum I think the 5" .357 Magnum (N frame) is ideal in it's balance and overall performance, but this 6" from the late 1970's caught my eye and I could not resist. I would like to shoot it but it's been in the shadows for so long I will just keep it there. Out of the shadows for a photo shoot, a Model 27-2.

My 27-2 collection.
The 6” is battle scarred, scratches and some rust spots but a great shooter.

I was having fun with lighting and photos edits…

That's a nice acquisition! The 6" bbl. Model 27-2 is a fine revolver, and it was one of the first that I picked up for my modest collection. I bought it locally from the original owner who received it as a birthday gift from his wife in 1978. I've still got my eye out for a 5" bbl. Model 27, and maybe a 4" bbl., too. Enjoy!
