Just got this last week, and haven't shot it yet, but I'm impressed with it nonetheless. It's a very small gun, 10+1 magazine and lightweight. It's a Sig Sauer 365, 9mm.

Here's a comparison of it and my .32 PPK. They're dimensionally the same, or very close. Loaded, the PPK weighs 32.3 oz, the Sig weighs 32.4. And holds 3 more rounds of a more powerful cartridge.

New Sig model 365

I purchased the exact same gun that you bought, the one with the thumb safety. What a nice gun, small enough for concealed carry, very accurate, with a large capacity mag (10 & 12 rds) for its size. I already qualified with it for the year. I have over a thousand rounds fired out of it with out any problems. I waited over 6 months for the thumb safety to be released. A great gun.
 
A plastic striker fired pistol? There 'll be snowballs in hell before I would ever lower myself to owning one of those. I'm a hammer fired type of guy and on top of that there will never be any plastic in my safe. At least that was my attitude up until last week. My friend at the lgs forced one in my hand and had me try out the trigger. That right there is what sold me on it. The only drawback in my mind was the lack of a safety but after doing a little looking on the internet I found that Sig will eventually offer a retrofit kit for these. The one I bought was barely used, the previous owner wanted a safety equipped model and I picked this one up at a substantial discount. Can't wait to try it out.
 
I hope you meant 22 oz and not 32. Pretty happy with mine too.
 
I'm not really a SIG guy, not having owned one since I got rid of my P220 more than ten years ago. Walther is my go-to brand, and I never imagined I'd find something to replace my PPS 9mm. The little P365 is quite a design, though, and I have put about 500 rounds through one in the past few weeks. Virtually no stoppages, no problems, no missfeeds - and this is without cleaning it and literally taking it right out of the box and shooting it.

High marks to SIG for this design as it is truly impressive in its size, dependability, and accuracy. A Vader IWB holster is a perfect companion for this little pistol.

Yeah, I got the numbers reversed. I don't use the safety (or at least I think not) but I'm kinda glad it's on there. I got this holster, IWB, very secure and thin.

365 with a 15 rounder, sought of weird looking and not my regular carry mag (flat 10) but it goes in my car with me everywhere.

I purchased one of the 15 round magazines and could barely squeeze 6 rounds in with the spring. Called Sig and they sent a return label. They sent me another new magazine that I can force 11 rounds in before my frustration level pops. I can load the twelve round magazine no problem.
 
I liked my first one so much, I bought another. It is the same size as my 6+1 Kahjr Cm-9 but holds more ammo. I found the 12 round mags to give me a perfect grip. It looks like my Glocks are in serious trouble of remaining.
 
Break a promise to myself???

It's tax-free weekend here in MA and with zero targets of opportunity in the pre-owned, metal-framed realm, I'm actually thinking of breaking a solemn promise I made to myself to never buy another cheap plastic disposable handgun. :confused: Yes folks, I am actually considering acquiring a P365. :eek: God, please forgive me if I do it. I am not responsible for my actions in the annual mania of MA tax-free weekend. :o

ETA: Actually, I kinda doubt it's going to happen, but the very fact that the thought itself is in my mind is scary and, in a strange way, a sort of tribute to the ingenuity of the P365. :)

ETA2: Well, I didn't buy one. My promise is intact. :) I did go looking, but I just could not justify the price even without the sales tax. So I keep my LC9s for now and possibly revisit the P365 during next year's tax-free weekend. ;)

I have had the same experience as Ladder13. After fully loading the magazines a couple of times with my Uplula, they were a lot easier to load. A very experience shooter friend of mine is all-in with S&W M&P pistols. He owns a lot of them and they all have been modified. After shooting my P 365, he not only owns one, it is his EDC! I'm not a fan of safeties on carry pistols, but to each his own. P 365 goes with me everywhere in its Vedder pocket holster.
 
I use the Uplula to load both my Sigs and M&P mags, they both have that funky follower top that makes getting the first round in a tad difficult. The Uplula just works.........
 
Great guns. I have a blue label P365 that replaced my Kahr PM9 for carry.

I have it in a kydex Alabama Pocket Holster with the flush 10 round mag, and normally carry one or two extra 12 round mags, depending on what I am wearing. I have a 15 round on the way from gunmagwarehouse as well.
 
The 365 has a stainless steel frame.
Mine is reliable as a brick.
 
I have posted previously, acquired a 365 as an alternative to my Glock 32.

No problems, loaded with Hornady Critical Duty, very comfortable as an off duty (now retired carry) sidearm.

Everything being equal, I'd choose 11+1, but that's not the case and I'd pick the J under most circumstances.
 
I picked up a 365 a month or two ago. It handled a couple of boxes of FMJ with no issues. I don't know what it is but so far, I'm just luke warm toward it. With all the early issues the model had, I plan on vetting it a bit more thoroughly than usual.

Until that happens, I'll carry my G43 or LCP.
 
All I can say is that I have liked my first copy of the P365 so well, I just took delivery of my second. I've got lots of reasons, and some of them are actually sound ones, I think! :>) I found a deal where I got a 12 round factory mag in on the pretty good deal for the gun so I jumped.

Got it home a bit ago, cleaned it up and lubed it well, filled the mags with FMJ, locked the slide back, and all these are sitting on the shelf till I can find a window to take them to the range. I also recently bought a 15 round mag soley for the purpose of carrying it in my vehicle bag where one of these will be on duty along with my EDC on my person. That way if I'm not in the vehicle, my wife has some protection till I get back. Those fifteen rounds loaded all in one mag will make a dandy reload if needed.

Truth is that I have only carried my beloved J Frames one time since I took delivery of my first P365 and had 500 rounds through it an the mags at the range. This second one will cost me the same number of rounds to earn it's right to accompany me where ever I need it to go. After both of these P365 are vetted to my satisfaction, I will probably shoot one of them for the majority of the time I spend at the range while shooting the other occasionally to keep it from pouting. I still want to know the long term reliability of these guns. So far, I have no indication they will not measure up.

The one I brought home today was built in March of 2019, and the first one was made in February of 2019. It has been faultless while closing in on a thousand rounds down range, as have been all the mags I own for it. It carries very well for me. I bought the first one in April of this year. I'm expecting the same performance from the new one!

Let us know how that goes. I understand a straight trigger slightly lengthens the distance to the trigger face for your finger. I could use a bit more of that! Also would like to hear how you get this done and where you source your flat trigger from. Thanks!
 
Went to the range again yesterday. I always take several pistols to shoot and I always have my Sig P365 with me to shoot. Love the gun, after owning the P365 for close to 15 months I've had no failures and it has performed great.
