I'm on the fence, between the Sig(P-250) and S&W(M&P) product in 9 MM. I've seen a "short trigger" offered in options and in the technical specs for the 250, but can't seem to find any actual info as to what the difference may be? Is the "short trigger" merely a shorter lever, a lever who's geometry puts it at a different angle within the guard, or one that's the same as the "long" trigger, but alters where the lever breaks and resets?
Thanks to anyone willing to help drag a dinosaur into the 21st century!

I Thank You 29!
You'd think such a streamlined explanation would be available in the tech-spec's on the manufacturers site?

Thanks Sar!
I didn't want to have to join in order to ask 15 stupid questions, then have nothing to contribute?
Hey! Wait a minute!
I'd be doing the same thing over there, I already do over here! Para doesn't need me being a PITA in two locations?

Be careful the 250. First it is full length DAO, not their newer DAK trigger system. Second, the short trigger just makes the reach from the back strap to the face of the trigger shorter. Third, while at the SHOT Show, I was shown by a SIG rep how to remove the trigger action to change the grip frame. Seemed easy until it locked up "tighter than Ole Dick's hatband." None of the SIG guys could get it fixed. Very embarassing. Make mine an M&P!
