If its made like a normal 1911, it could just be the hammer strut hitting the edge of the mainspring housing. Sometimes those things can be hard to get centered up on the mainspring cap.
Try shaking it around a bit or inserting it with the barrel pointed up.![]()
I'm well aware of that. I have a Walther made Colt 1911. While the barrel and recoil system are blowback, the entire trigger mechanism is pure 1911. It'll even take standard 1911 parts.
Not sure who makes Sig's 1911 .22s, but its probably made the same way.
They aren't actually 1911's. They're blowbacks
Dig Sauer doesn't build them, they just brand them.
I removed the back strap and now cannot get it all the way back on. Something stops it. Any ideas? Thank you
