Sight mount for a M&P 40

I just got a new M&P Pro Series 40 cal. with a 5" barrel and want to mount a red dot sight on it. It seems there are few if any mounts to replace the Novak dovetail rear sight. I ordered and recieved a Sight-Mount mount that would have worked but sent it back when I realized that you have to drill a hole in the slide to secure the front of the mount. I don't want to do that to my new gun. Does anyone know of any other options to mount a red dot on this great gun?

Leupold delta point with the mount option a little pricey but it works great on my M&P 22 and you have mounts for 15 or so other guns. No drilling just remove your site and replace with the M&P mount center and tighten the set screw. If you want to see pictures search " my M&P 22mods.
