Is there still a source for red ramp front and white outline rear sights for a Smith 27–2?

Midway or Brownells" used to have them",might check with them. IIRC I bought several white outline rear sights few years ago.

I see that they carry the white outline rear, but I don’t see anything for the red ramp front site. Is that something that was special ordered from Smith & Wesson or something that was cut in by an aftermarket gunsmith?

A 6 inch model 19 with a red ramp front site seems to be a fairly elusive item

Changing the front sight on a S&W revolver is not a drop-in, easy DIY job. It is much easier to paint the Patridge front sight with a base coat of matte white, then top coat color of your choice.

Yep..........99.9% of them came with post front sights.
