i recently purchased a Sigma 9mm for a great price. i am interested in putting a laser sight on her, but i was told the gun needs a special type of adapator for the rail. i see lots of stuff on ebay and this one website (www.smithandwessonsigma.com)

any suggestions? know any reputable ebay sellers? thanks for your help.

Red laser are only visable in bright daylight on a white surface at close range. With less light, ( clouds or darkness), it becomes more visable. Best visability comes in evening or early morning and inside.
Green lasers are visable day or night. The require much more battery power and are much more bulky and expensive.

Mornin... Just got done installing my laser on my sigma. Got the adapter from Midsouth shooters and a cheapo laser from cdnn.. Couldn't see spending big bucks if I didn't care for it. Pain to install the adapter.Should have a third hand. I ended up using a spting clamp. Also the adapter(Laserlyte) needed a tad of tweakin to work. I had quite a bitof trouble at first. Emailed them and they are sendin a new unit and prepaid return. GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I'll be sendin the new one back with info on how I fixed mine with a suggestion they mention the fix in the pkg. Good shooting unit I'm happy with it. Have a great day..

TDR911 is too modest to mention it, but his company sells a tidy little laser that fits the proprietary rails of the Sigma perfectly. I got one recently for my SW9VE, and it works and looks great. MUCH better than the cheapo ones around. You can get it with or without the holster kit. Check out his website! I actually found him accidentally while searching on eBay, and then discovered he was a fellow member here on the forum.

Den51 Thanx I looked it up. Nice looking unit and a whole lot neater than my setup..May just have to bite the bullet and get one.

Thanks Dennis51 . I try to keep a professional approch and answer the questions. Yes there are a lot of cheaper lasers that will not hold the point of aim. Most because of not being secure or mounts that loosen up. The other issue is the laser adjustment style. Double opposed screws will hold much better than a spring/screw type.

I think this is what you are looking for. I've had good luck with Cheaper than Dirt, but other online stores carry this as well.

Mornin all.. Having trouble finding a holster for my sigma w/laser.. Don't need fancy, just to keep it from getting crapped up in the drawer pf the safe... Any info appreciated. Thanx Stash

Den51 Again I thenk you for your info.. Just ordered the holster on fleabay. Not crazy about them or paypal but the only other option was from Cheaper Than Dirt. I just found one in thier latest cat. for less than a ten spot. PLUS the square deal shafting of $14.95. Thank you again. Stash

I would like to sound in for TDR911. I just bought his laser for my Sigma .40. I am very happy with the quality and fit and ease of operation. Trigger finger on/off is very natural if you're a tactical shooter. Unfortunately I did not get an opportunity to make it to the range this weekend because .40 rounds in my area are completely expended.

However, like said before there is no lack of quality in this product. Thank you TDR911

Hi all... Got my holster for the Sigma w/laser from Holterman on ebay.. Less than $ 20 delivered. Top quality goods. The thing is even LINED... I'm a happy camper. Next step a laser from td 911 to replace the cheapo.. Thanx for all the assistance ....... Stash

Thanks guys for showing me this. Up until now I was completely against a laser because they were just too cumbersome and just looked bad. This one is sleek, nice fit and you can get a custom fit holster for it. Sweet find just 2 weeks before my birthday.;)
