Sigma Question

I'm new to the Sigma line and was wondering if I buy one chambered in .40 it will also fire 9mm with a barrel and magazine swap.

It's main purpose will be a 'truck gun' with some range duty. Academy has these for $299.

I don't believe so because the part of the slide that closes over the breach would be too wide.

That's what I figured, but just wanted to check.

I still think I will buy one anyways, just for truck use.
