Sigma Rebate Is Pretty Fast!!

Just wanted to let anyone wondering if the rebate program is getting any better and this is a deciding factor on their purchase, go ahead and buy!! I bought my 40VE on 7/24/10, mailed the rebate form in on 7/26/10, and received the two free mags in the mail today 8/31/10. Not too shabby, after reading another thread about others taking so long. Keep in mind that this is for the free mags, I'm not sure about the cash rebate taking longer or not
Oh yeah, the online site that you can use to check the status of your rebate is about worthless, it still says that there is no record of my claim being submitted. Just wanted to let you all know.

Thanks for the report, I got my Sigma on 7/31/10 and mailed it in 8/2/10 (also asking for mags; it seemed smarter at they retail for $35-$37). I haven't heard back yet, but if yours is a measure, then my mags might be on the way in a week..?

I dont shoot that often so I went with the cash. Basically bought the pistol for home protection but the love for it grows every time I hold it lol. I thought it took quite a while for the cash rebate but it was a nice surprise when it came because I pretty much forgot about it! I think mine took close to three or four months to get in the mail

Well, even if you just wanted the cash, you could have gotten 2 mags that retail around $37/each. Just sell them for $30/ea and you're $10 ahead. That was my thinking (although I very much plan on keeping them, 4 mags gives me 1 in the gun, 2 on the double mag pouch and 1 empty to rotate in every few weeks to keep the springs from getting weak.)

I heard the whole spring thing with the mags isn't that serious. Obviously they will weaken over time but from what I was told, it will never be enough to cause feed issues or jams etc etc

Update: I received my 2 mags in the mail today. So, purchase on 7/31/10, mailed form on 8/2/10, received on 9/15/10. Pretty fast IMHO.

How long did we listen to people piss and moan about the rebate? A good year maybe.

Now, the rebate folks in that little blue trailer on the hill (remember that guys), are getting it together! LOL!

Thats good to here. 8 years ago I sent in for the mag rebate and it only took 2 weeks. not bad.

took me about a month and a half back in may
