Is there a kit to shorten the trigger reset? The heavy pull is not a problem for me. I actually like the heavy pull. But it would be alot better if the reset on the trigger was shorter. Can anyone help me???

Any significant changes to the Sigma trigger geometry requires major surgery and redesign. No kits are available, and you do it at your own risk.
Personally, I think it is a fool's errand when an M&P or SD and Apex kits can be had for reasonable price and little risk.

True story. And if you try and shorten the lead in, that won't work because then it will not reset at all. Everything is pretty much a fixed system in a Sigma as far as lead in, reset, and over travel.
I started out with a SW40VE some years ago. I liked the grip angle, the look, the reliability...basically the overall design except the 12 lbs. trigger pull. If that dang trigger was 4-6 lbs like a M&P Pro or a Glock then I would have no use for either the Glock nor the M&P...but there is no getting around the 12 lbs. trigger on the Sigma. It makes for a fine self defense gun, but a not os fine target/competition gun. As others have said, if you need a handgun with a 4 Lbs. trigger then buy a M&P Pro Series & delegate the Sigma to SD & take the M&P to the range. I love my M&P trigger, I like my Glock trigger, I don't care for my Sigma trigger, yet I love all of my guns...

trigger pull......my god I taught a concealed handgun class Sunday. I had a middle aged Mom who had never fired a gun in her life. I let her use my Sigma that I bought just for my concealed handgun classes. I gave her some basic instruction on aiming, trigger pull etc. She fired a 205 out of 250 with a Sigma 9VE...Qualification called for 175. That is 82% on a B-27 Target. Fired from 3-15 yards. She had three outside the shillouette at 15 yards, her only misses. the rest were in the X-10-9-8 ring and a few in the 7 ring......she stood 5'0" and weighed about 100 lbs and her hands were small barely able to have a decent 2 hand grip. no FTF FTE or other malfunctions. its a fine gun and if she could qualify, there is no need to bemoan the trigger....did she say it was hard to manage...you bet she did.....was she unable? Nope! when I explained how the long DAO only was a safety device she understood, especially since I showed her a video of a Vegas cop almost shooting a suspect in the head and injuring another cop......the gun will not go off unless you really pull the trigger.....nuff said.

The pull is not a problem. I got me some popeye forearms. I'd prefer a shorter reset. But if there is nothing that can be done. Then, oh well...I can live with it. BTW..dont get me wrong. I do love my sigma. Let the haters hate. It keeps the price down for me.
