Could someone explain what the Ampersand weekly newsletter is about?

Curious, I followed a couple of the links above, and understand that it is a weekly newsletter, but I am wondering what weekly news does it report?

I've been getting it for quite a while. It is a newsletter highlighting recent threads that the staff thinks we might find interesting.

I think it is a nice touch.
