I have to unplug my computer in a few moments, I need it up to my new house for first thing tomorrow morning for the new internet provider, so I won't be online. Especially since somebody at work got a bee in their bonnet about what we could look at online and have reduced our internet time to only 10 minutes, and a surf blocker now keeps any mention of weapons out. (I can't even look up holsters!). So I should be back online hopefully in the next two weeks.

Yes, workplace filtering is just so much fun. Before I retired the first of this year I worked at a local hospital... part of my job was "overnight call" for surgery. Since I lived about an hour away I kept a 28' travel trailer in their parking lot for when I would be spending the night. They were really great about it, provided electricity and a no restrictions phone line for me out there.

The hospital computer system was rather heavily filtered... if it wasn't obviously work related then most websites were blocked. Forget about GunBroker, Auction Arms and the like and trying to visit CheerleadersInBondage or the like was enough to get you fired. My personal laptop when plugged in to a regular phone line (dialup) was totally unrestricted though. Made things much more tolerable out in that parking lot.
